Reviews  By misty v from charlottesville, VA Posted Mar 14, 2014 I took a marble table top that had broken into three pieces to be repaired. They said that they could repair it and quoted a price. When I went to pick it up one crack was fine and the other was not. They explained that the table was no longer flat and that they couldn't get the crack to close properly. I said that they should have called me when they realized they would not be able to do the repair properly, and we could discuss what I wanted to do next. I suggested they make a new table top and put the cost of the botched repair towards that since they had proceeded with a repair they knew would not work. They said no. It wasn't their problem. I've taken the table top elsewhere and will never recommend a business with such poor business practices and poor repair skills.  By Elain H. from Charlottesville, VA Posted May 31, 2010 This is the second time I have used Oliva & Sons for kitchen granite. Both times were excellent; they timed with my cabinet worker and plumber so I lost my kitchen only 24 hours. The quality of the work was perfection: seamless, a little more overhang due to the dishwasher, perfect edging. I could not have asked for a higher quality product or experience. The first time was over 10 years ago so there were not as many granite choices in-house. This time I could go and choose my actual slab or at least see "slab size" samples to choose. I also feel Oliva has many more choices. The workmen are also very neat. They replaced some large italian floor tiles while they were there and there was no dust despite removing old grout.
